Description

Travel deep into the wilds on a fly-out Alaska bear viewing trip. Take the opportunity to view Alaska’s brown bears in their natural habitat! Enjoy a 6 hour guided tour to the entrance of Lake Clark Wilderness Preserve, home of Redoubt Bay Lodge, and incredible bear viewing.

This tour includes a 70-mile flight from Anchorage to the entrance of Lake Clark. Flight time in your 4 to 10-passenger floatplane is approximately 50 minutes each way. Slip on the provided headsets, and listen as your pilot narrates the flight. And no fighting over the window seat — everyone gets one on this fantastic tour. Once you arrive at the entrance of Lake Clark, an experienced natural history guide will take you by boat through bear country.

Watch for bears as they fish for salmon in the wild. Remember to keep an eye out for other wildlife along the way. Relax and enjoy a homemade lunch on the lake or in the cozy lodge before your return to Anchorage. You’ll receive a Redoubt Bay Field Guide that provides interesting facts about bears and a checklist of flora and fauna specific to this region.

Complimentary transfers are available from most major Anchorage hotels.
