Denali Experience Glacier Landing Flight

Experience Alaska’s wilderness with a flight seeing tour of Mt. Denali and the other magnificent peaks of the Alaska Range with the added thrill of landing on the gentle slopes of Ruth Glacier.

This 90-minute flight will take you within six miles of Mt. Denali’s summit. Minutes after leaving Talkeetna, you’ll enter a world of rugged, high mountain peaks and glacier filled valleys. Throughout your flight, watch and listen as your pilot describes the natural wonders of Denali National Park. See Sheldon Amphitheater, beautiful Ruth Glacier, and the world’s deepest gorge.

Land on a glacier beneath Mt. Denali and marvel at its geographical architecture. Step out on the glacier and put your footprints in the snow. As you stand among the granite peaks, you will understand the immense scale of the mountains surrounding you. Upon returning to the air, be on the look out for wildlife such as moose and bear while crossing the broad valley between Mt. Denali and Talkeetna.

Your flight in a four to ten passenger bush plane is narrated, and headsets are provided. The planes are set up so that every passenger has the best seat in the plane.
