Caribou Lodge Alaska is a remote fly-in lodge located approximately 15 air miles southeast of the famous little town of Talkeetna. Only accessible by float plane or helicopter, the location is our home year-round and a private paradise in the Alaskan wilderness or “The Bush,” as it is known to Alaskans.

A small and personal family-run operation where you can escape from the crowds, Caribou Lodge offers a fun and relaxed learning experience of life off the grid with an Alaskan wilderness family.

Caribou Lodge is best known as a hiking destination. During your stay, we offer half-day hikes, full-day hikes, and 1 or 2 night hiking/camping trips. So whether you’ll be packing a quick lunch for a day hike or outfitting a pack with everything you’ll need for multiple days out in the Alaskan bush, you are going to have an adventure!
