Description
Your travels to Brooks Lodge in Katmai National Park begin when you board a twin-prop aircraft in Anchorage bound for Kulik Lodge or King Salmon, Alaska. Upon arrival you will be met for your short bus transfer to a Katmai Air floatplane. From here you will connect with your 20 minute scenic floatplane adventure to Brooks Lodge. Once at Brooks Lodge you will be given a brief bear orientation by a park ranger and learn how to conduct yourself while exploring in bear country. You will have the opportunity to visit the world famous Brooks Falls, where brown bears feed and the friendly National Park Service rangers will answer all of your questions about this incredible park.
The Katmai National Park one-day tour includes round trip air transportation from Anchorage to Brooks Lodge (Brooks Camp) for your unguided adventure in Katmai (Brooks Falls). Lunch is included.
